Riding through nature It's hard to to not feel inspired by the beauty all around you.
This capsule draws from the riders surroundings to help foster a deeper connection to the landscape.
All prints/ images were created and edited by me.
The Raspberry Leaf print above was created by eco printing.
This technique requires a process of using mordants and plants with the right chemical makeup to adhere to natural fibers.
This print utilized local raspberry and eucalyptus leaves with an iron water mordant.
Using different mordants and plants can give wildly different results.
It's a rather fun process that teaches you about your natural surroundings as well as accepting that you are not in control.
I find that in cycling you learn similarly that nature is fully in control and that you are merely along for the ride.
